Coldar is an arctic planet located within the Brim of the Edge, a region in the Milky Way. Coldar has a moon, (Artic) that serves as a vacation retreat for many Coldarians and the source of most Icy Crystals. Its geography mostly consisted of frozen plains, mountains, and tundras. Coldar is home to the Coldarian; a sentient blue-skinned humanoid species who are very advanced. It is also home to a race of Catsaurs: the Snow Catsaurs. Coldar is divided into three continents: the Tundra Region (renamed the Continent of Populus because of the cities located there), the Mountain Region, and the Uncharted Plains. Approximately 40,070 B.C., the Enternal Coldarian Empire built Crystallos City and the Blaze Palace, soon followed by Market Town and other cities. Coldar had caves which contained Icy Crystals. Between 40,070 B.C. and 37,870 B.C., many known corporations were founded such as the Coldarian Arms Foundry, the Artic Shipyards on Artic, the Coldarian Terrestial Vehicles Corporation, and others. The Coldarians invented many things such as Crystalblades, various forms of starships, weapons and other things. In 9,625 B.C., a man named Vork Breaker wanted to take over the Enternal Coldarian Empire and transform it into a Dictatorship, so a civil war began. The First Coldarian Civil War was deadly for both sides, lasting a year. During one of Spectra G. Phantom's adventures through the Milky Way he stumbled upon the Bioma System and made contact with Coldar.
